Through fine-art photography, I seek meaning in imperfection and beauty in small details. I work with analogue film and prints because I believe photographs should be held, felt and experienced up-close.

My analogue journey started with a Nikon N65, shooting on 35mm films. However, in those days I was developing and printing the films in labs. In that workflow, I always felt somewhere my vision is getting lost.

Now I shoot medium format on a Bronica ETRSi and 120 black-and-white roll films — primarily Fomapan Action 400 and Bergger Pancro 400. Prints are hand-made in a traditional darkroom using Ilford chemistry and usually on Ilford Multigrade RC Pearl 8×10 papers.

I also work with Polaroids, shooting primarily on Polaroid SX-70 in colour as well as black and white formats.

Limited edition prints

All prints are hand-made, individually signed, and numbered. Editions are small — typically five prints. As with the nuances of hand-printing, each print is unique. Get in touch about acquiring a print →
